Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas…almost! Today begins the time of year when everyone can find joy about something, whether it is Christmas tradition or the Boxing Day sales! I, for one, love Christmas for the banquets of delicious foods which, in my family, range from salamis and prosciuttos to turkey and salad. Yum. Even in those awkward moments when you are the only kid around and trying desperately to escape the seemingly inescapable task of talking to someone 30 years older than you, the food is always something to look forward to. Not to mention the soft drink and chips which Christmas gives me the excuse to eat and drink as much of as I like! Unfortunately, I despise Christmas carols. Maybe if they weren’t played from late October right through to Christmas, I wouldn’t feel so bugged by them, but those tunes are just so catchy that by the time Christmas comes, my musical tastebuds absolutely repel Christmas music. I really do sound like the grinch.
Anyway, today it is Christmas Eve and I’d like to wish all of you a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (as well as a minimal selection of Christmas songs)!
